We decided to try and offer some information to try to help you decide what’s right for you. If this is confirmed get your checkbook out and warm your pen up.I f you’re in the market for a tuner for your Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins – it won’t come as a surprise to you that there are countless different options available for the 6.7L. If it adjusts factory parameters the truck will have a higher stored value for torque and horsepower even if a footprint showing a tune or flash is not stored. I call that a lie and i like Banks and have bought parts from them in the past. They claim it does not void the warranty. Just today i saw a banks ad for the Derringer for the Duramax L5P. IIRC the truck was plugged in and Ram engineering was testing the truck remotely from the other side of the country. They do not take the dealers word for it anymore at all. But, ram requested screen shots of the trucks parameters and once again delved into the computer looking for out of spec parameters to deny warranty. Then i had a 68rfe go out on my 14 at 14,700 miles. They finally agreed it was not tuned but blamed the FASS for the issues. I was amazed at what they could investigate. They were looking for a higher torque reading or higher fuel pressure readings outside of stock spec. When they came up empty handed they went into each computer they could to look for out of spec values. They dived into the trucks tune count looking for a footprint. I had the lift pump in the hopes of saving the fragile cp4. I argued the point that it was a monitor. He saw the pump and said it was tuned and my edge insight was a tuner. GM sent an engineer down to figure it out. I had a wiring issue where the truck ran in regen almost 100 percent of the time. The truck was stock except i had a FASS lift pump. I have had a bit of trouble with tuning/warranty. The only lecture here is just a subtle reality check, because everyone wants to be the coolest dude on YouTube or IG who makes a video about their tuned and deleted truck and get tons of views/clicks/subscribers and get that "internet money" to quote South Park - If you're gonna play, you gotta be prepared to pay - and judging by the amount of auto debt thats out there, many people don't make smart decisions. No one is anti-tune here to my knowledge and there wouldn't be any lectures if these sort of threads start out like this, evolve into "OMG I love the power and my truck after my tune!", then months or year later (or maybe not at all if its not being pushed), it evolved into "Well I have a tune on my truck and now I'm trying to troubleshoot whats wrong because the dealer said my warranty is void and I have a repair bill on my turbo that I really can't afford or I need to rebuild my trans because I pushed it too hard with power on the 68RFE/Aisin or I need a new clutch or to rebuild my G56 and its not covered etc etc etc"Ĭan only imagine if someone tuned their new truck and the grid heater bolt fell into the new engine because of the excess vibrations or whatever and then they are on here complaining about paying out of pocket for a new engine. I know its tempting to "play" on these rigs, and maybe I'm just at a different time of my life (cruising into my mid-30's slowly, keeping my finances in order while preparing for our child) - but if I spent 50-60k+ or even 70k I wouldnt be wanting to lose my warranty because I couldn't be happy with factory power levels - I'm paying my truck off and will own it outright in about 2 years, but even then I'd probably just drive the truck for a while and enjoy having the warranty on it -īut if y'all have the funds and can pay to play, then by all means, do what you want - and this is coming from a guy who doesnt worry about emissions testing in our "free" state.īecause most people come on here with a new truck and/or new to diesel tuning in general and think its simple and mild like tuning a 2.0T Volkswagen, something that costs $500-1000 and you can easily go 100k+ with zero issues - and on the contrary Cummins tuning is no joke and isn't like tuning a small 4 cylinder turbo on a VW. Once you're tuned trust me, it leaves an imprint - all the people that say that "you can flash it back to stock" its all BS nowadays, any computer leaves an imprint and it is easily seen when there is an issue and FCA/dealer is looking for evidence of a flash. Click to expand.^Agree - I'm not one to pick into y'alls finances but do y'all own these brand new trucks outright paid in cash, have 3-6 months or more of living expenses in the bank and are debt free, and have money to pay if a turbo bearing goes? Or a transmission or clutch? I recall talking to a local diesel shop about a week after I bought my truck and he said he sees more people that rack up debt doing tunes and mods to their trucks and having their warranty revoked and can't barely afford the $100 oil changes on them.

Provided your encoding was not corrupted the output should be your original string. Using the example encoding shown above, let’s decode it back into its original form. With encoded string, you can pipe an echo command into base64 as you did to encode it. To decode with base64 you need to use the -decode flag. bas64 /path/to/file > output.txt Decoding Strings You may want to write the stdout to file instead. This will output a very long, base64 encoded string. To base64 encode a file base64 /path/to/file Which will output the following bXktc3RyaW5n Without the -n flag you may capture a hidden characters, like line returns or spaces, which will corrupt your base64 encoding. To ensure no extra, hidden characters are added use the -n flag. To base64 encode string you can pipe an echo command into the base64 command-line tool. While it may obfuscate that actual data from should surfers, anyone who has access to base64 encoded data can easily decode it. Rather it is a useful way of transferring or storing large data in the form of a string. Base64 is not EncryptionĮncoding files is not encryption and should never be used to secure sensitive data on disk. In short, base64 encoding ensures the integrity of our data when transferred over the network. The reason is ASCII files are string converted to bytes, and when those bytes are decoded incorrectly back to ASCII your data becomes corrupt.īase64 was introduced as a way to convert your ASCII data into arbitrary bytes, where they could then be transferred as bytes, and decoded correctly back to ASCII. Transferring an ASCII file over the network can cause corruption if not decoded correctly. OSX also comes bundled with its own version of base64. You should not have to perform any additional steps. If you are running popular linux distributions, such as Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, or Red Hat, the base64 command-line tool is typically pre-installed. On computers where Camtasia is not installed, you can download the TSC2 Codec for free to play TREC files. The TREC file format (using TSC2 Codec) is a single container for various multimedia objects including video clips, images, screen captures and audio/video effects. The Editor allows import of various types of video, audio and image files including MP4, AVI, MP3, WAV, PNG, JPEG, and other formats into the Camtasia proprietary TREC format, which is readable and editable by Camtasia. In order to provide localized versions of the produced videos, subtitles can be added with the captioning feature. On the Timeline, overlays of various types like annotations may be added, including user-defined settings, such as when and how to display the cursor and pan-and-zoom effects such as the Ken Burns effect. The Library stores reusable media across multiple projects. In Camtasia (also known as the Editor), the Media Bin is where media (screen recordings, voice-overs, etc.) for the current project are stored. Windows users may also install an add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint that will allow them to initiate recording of a presentation from within PowerPoint itself. Camtasia also supports dubbing in other audio tracks or voiceover during post-capture editing. Camtasia Recorder allows audio (and webcam) recording while screen recording is in progress, so the presenter can capture live narration during a tutorial or presentation. The TREC file can be saved to disk or directly imported into the Camtasia component for editing. In Camtasia Recorder, users can start and stop recording with shortcuts at any time, at which point the recording is halted, and Camtasia Recorder can render the input that has been captured into the TREC format. The third step is to export the produced video as a local file ( MP4 or other file type), or to upload it to a media or file-sharing platform such as YouTube or Google Drive. The second step is to edit the recorded video in Camtasia, adding transitions and annotations with its editing features and effects, such as cursor effects and visual effects. Multi-display configurations are supported. The first step is to record a video (from a specific region or fullscreen) with Camtasia Recorder. The features are structured around the three main steps of the program workflow: recording, editing and export/sharing. Camtasia is available in English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese versions. Other multimedia recordings (microphone, webcam and system audio) may be recorded at the same time or added separately (like background music and narration/voice tracks). Screen recording and video editing softwareĬamtasia ( / k æ m ˈ t eɪ ʒ ə/ formerly Camtasia Studio and Camtasia for Mac ) is a software suite, created and published by TechSmith, for creating and recording video tutorials and presentations via screencast (screen recording), or via a direct recording plug-in to Microsoft PowerPoint. Interested franchisees must have a minimum net worth of $2 million (with $400,000–800,000 on hand), and be able to build a store without loans or debt. They’re seeking franchisees who are interested in building a long-lasting partnership, not just a business arrangement. Since then, they’ve sold more than 100 franchises in 12 states, and there are no signs of the brand losing momentum. The duo, who worked on the Houston’s Hot Chicken concept for two years before launch, opened their first store in Las Vegas in August 2021. Houston’s Hot Chicken co-founders Edmond Barseghian and Houston Crosta may be young-both are in their early 30s-but they already helm one of the fastest-growing restaurant franchises in the U.S. The Iver Huitfeldt-class of the Royal Danish Navy is another class of frigate that has air defense capabilities. For example, the Royal Netherlands Navy operates the De Zeven Provinciën-class frigates armed with VL Standard Missile 2 Block IIA, Goalkeeper CIWS close-in weapon systems, the RIM-162 Sea Sparrow missiles, the long-range search radar SMART-L, and the Thales Active Phased Array Radar. It will also have a more complex and deeper flavor. If there wasn’t as much sunlight and it was a lengthier process removing the salt from the fish extract, the sauce will be darker in color. If the fish sauce was exposed to lots of bright sunshine while the salt was being removed from the fish extract, it will have an overall lighter color. The color actually helps tell you what the weather was like during the creation of the sauce. Some are light and transparent, others are thicker and darker. Most fish sauces have different hues and colors. Even if it’s just a few dollars more, it’s definitely worth it for the higher quality. The higher the nitrogen content, the higher the price will likely be. 30°N is the standard for fish sauce, but high-quality brands of fish sauce are 40°N and even 50°N. The higher the protein content, the better tasting it will be. The nitrogen indicates how much protein a fish sauce has. Not all fish sauce bottles include their nitrogen content, but if you do see a bottle stating degrees N it’s always a good sign. You can tell how much nitrogen a fish sauce has by the number of degrees N it has. Adding preservatives can make the process of making fish sauce finish faster, but it just won’t taste the same. Try to avoid sauces that have added preservatives and unnecessary ingredients in them. The most common one is anchovy, but mackerel and shad fishes are common too. All of the best fish sauces will only be made out of one type of fish. Try to look if it’s made out of one type of fish, or multiple. Sometimes it can say “fish extract” or “anchovy extract” and that’s still just as good. If you’re looking for a true traditional fish sauce, it should only have two ingredients (salt and fish). Read the nutritional label and ingredients Here are some things to consider when finding out what fish sauce is right for you. Some like their sauce really salty, others like undertone flavors such as smoke or maple. Some people like their sauce sweet, others like it fishy, some like the fishy smelling scent, others don’t. Everyone’s taste buds are different, so it’s truly a personal decision. It can take trying a few to find one that you really love. What to Consider When Shopping For this SauceĬhances are, the first sauce you try won’t be your favorite. Some sweetness is okay, and some sauces will be naturally sweet from the anchovies themselves.
